The PCHS supports the publication of the Newsletter of the Phelps County Historical Society, an occasional journal. Follow this link to a list of articles that have appeared in the journal.
The PCHS owns three historic properties. The Phelps County Museum (Dillon Log House, across the street from the Old Courthouse), the Old Jail (206 Park Street), and the Old Courthouse (305 Third Street) are open for special events and by appointment. The curator is Diane Henke.
Phelps County's other "heritage" organization also has a homepage on The Web. The Phelps County Genealogical Society has an office in the Old Courthouse. There is also a lot of Phelps County history at the University of Missouri/State Historical Society of Missouri Western Historical Manuscript Collection-Rolla. From 1926 to the late 1970s, Phelps County was traversed by historic Route 66.
