AISES is the American Indian Science and Engineering Society. It is a nationally recognized Native American Organization that encourages Native Americans to pursue careers in science, engineering, and other technical fields. AISES sponsors professional, college, high school, and elementary school chapters.

The Missouri S&T chapter was first formed in May of 1998, but has been non-active for a couple of years. The MST Chapter has been re-chartered and looks to begin anew during the 2007-2008 school year.
