The objective of the ASEM Student Chapter is to promote the profession of engineering management through the organized effort of this group in study, research, and discussion of the fields within engineering management and the dissemination of knowledge thereby gained. The ASEM Student Chapter exists to assist its members in developing and improving their skills as practicing managers of engineering and technology and to promote the profession of engineering management. The goals of the chapter are:

1. To advance engineering management in theory and practice.

2. To maintain a high professional standard among its members.

3. To promote the development of the profession of engineering management by meetings, professional contacts, reports, papers, discussions and publications.

4. To serve the public interest.
