For t=0s,v=0m/s and t=20s,v=40m/s.
the velocity equation for this period is given by the equation
v=2t

For t = 20s to t = 50s,v = 40m/s.

The total distance travelled is
stotal = 400+1200 = 1600 m.

AVERAGE SPEED-
speed(avg) = stotal/time
= 1600/50
= 32 m/s.
