OTHER PROJECTS
3D Engine/Video Game – 6 months
In cooperation with a classmate, we developed a cross-platform 3D game engine in C++ using OpenGL and SDL. The engine does transformations, collision detection/response, texture handling, 3D sound, and basic physics. Both the engine and the game were written in our spare time. The game was written in parallel and can be found at: http://web.mst.edu/~bmsgg6/tank/
Team Management/Communication Software – 5 months
In a team of 4 and as leader of development, I wrote a SQL database and PHP scripts to manage a software engineering team. This included a password protected web interface that allowed members of the team to upload documentation, send email to everyone else in the team, and modify team meeting minutes. This project was part of the course work in a software engineering class at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid where I spent a year studying abroad. Communication with my team members, Spaniards and a Russian, posed an unusual challenge.
