Hirschbuehler is an IBM Business Consulting Services
(BCS) Partner within the Customer Relationship Management
(CRM) group. He holds the position of CRM leader for
the industrial sector and has management responsibility
for CRM client engagement activities as well as professional
staff and services development.
Dan has more than 20 years experience in process
design and systems integration across many industries
including communications, hi-tech, transportation
and manufacturing. Over the past eight years, he
has focused exclusively on CRM strategy and implementation
engagements. Projects in which he has played a critical
role include performance improvement and technology
integration in the contact centers of a major airline
carrier; the customer care diagnostic study at a
large consumer products manufacturing and direct
distribution company; call center technology implementation
for a major automotive manufacturing company; and
sales force automation for a major mutual funds management
company.
Prior to IBM, Dan worked for two years in the aerospace
consulting industry for McDonnell Douglas Corporation.
He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1982 and was
one of the founders of PwC’s Consulting (now
IBM BCS) CRM group. At one time he was responsible
for the CRM ACCEL solution, the primary focus of
the PwC Consulting CRM group. He is based in Houston
and was admitted into the PricewaterhouseCoopers
partnership in 1990. He holds a Master of Science
degree in engineering management and a Bachelor of
Science degree in computer science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly UMR).
