International Student Day 2003
 On
Sunday, March 9, 2003, International Student Day was celebrated in UMR.
As Chinese students and scholars living and studying in America, we hope
to know more about the world, and the world to know more about US and
our culture. To grasp this chance, CSSA planed the activity three weeks
ahead and participated in nearly all the events.
On that day, Lu Feifei, Liu Xiaoqiong, Jiang Hua, Teng
Yingwu, Yu Piyong and Zhang Shijin cook a big Chinese fry rice for people
to taste. With great enthusiasm, Toni Chang, He Pingan and Bi Xijin introduced
the Chinese Culture to the people. A lot of typical Chinese arts, including
Fan, Sword, and Handmade lucky knots were exhibited. Cheng Ying and Sun
Shishuang join the fashion show. They dressed with traditional Tangzhuang
and Qipao made with the beautiful China Silk with long history. We hope
that one day more and more people will know and appreciate Chinese Culture.
