Efficient Management of Data in Mobile Cloud Computing Environment

Mobile cloud computing is simply an extension of cloud computing paradigm where some of the nodes involved are mobile nodes. As mobile internet access devices and wireless networks are becoming more and more ubiquitous, accessing remote cloud servers from mobile devices has become a lot easier and it has opened up a wide variety of applications like social networking, etc. As part of this project, we explore the possibility of using mobile cloud computing to share near-real time location based information in the form of image, video or text files among mobile devices connected to the cloud. It involves developing a scheme to share the information efficiently taking security aspects into consideration.
