Data Characteristic Guided Compression for Stream-Based Systems

This project analyzes patterns in stream data and defines appropriate compression algorithms based on the characteristics of the data. This allows for a higher throughput rate and less data loss in wireless sensor networks and other stream-based systems. Currently work is being done on algorithm design and simulation.
