| Hardware Implementation of Security Algorithms in Sensor Networks using Mica2 Motes
                        About

My research is on programming wireless
sensors, Mica2 Motes, to make them work in a multi-hop
                            ad-hoc network. The Mica2 Motes consist of a 900Mhz
wireless interface and any suitable sensors, i.e.
light, temperature, microphone… They can be
programmed using TinyOS which includes a cross-compiler
for the embedded processor on the mote, and various
other utilities to use the motes effectively. TinyOS
can run in cygwin on windows or on Linux. Readings
taken from the sensors can be manipulated in various
ways before being sent wirelessly over to any number
of recipients. The motes also have Relative Signal
Strength Indicators which shows how far away a recipient
mote is over the wireless network.
