Research Areas:

Lean Enterprise Management : My interests are primarily in the reduction of costs incurred in production systems due to breakdown of machines, quality-control problems, or material-handling issues.

Supply Chain Management: Currently, my primary interest in this area is in devising production-planning strategies for remanufacturing systems.

Reinforcement Learning and Approximate Dynamic Programming: This focus area covers (i) the development of intelligent algorithms for solving large-scale Markov decision problems and (ii) studying their applications in industrial tasks.

Revenue Management and Pricing: My research has been primarily in developing simulation-based techniques for airline pricing.
