Business

• Presentation of budget by Devin, with additions and changes
• Discussion of what to do with the excess: lab equipment, t-shirts
• Q: What about conference expenses? A: We've got plenty of money and we have sponsors
• We will be inducting a professional member -- need to pay for his banquet ticket and membership dues
• Q: Do we need plaque supplies? A: No. We have plenty.
• Breadboard sales: Need to see if EE/CpE courses and/or instructors are interested
• Lab cleanup: Need to find datasheets for old ICs; preferably keep a softcopy in case it becomes hard to find
• Q: Should we get computers for the SPL? A: Wait until it's clean, then discuss it.
• Devin will mail the certificate to Dr. Walker
• Q: Should we nominate a St. Pat's Knight? A: No opinion, so No.
• Pledging: Tyler and Rob are working on pledge workdays
• Officer pictures were taken for the website
• Get Well card for Dr. Wilson will be in the HKN mailbox tomorrow morning

President (Amy Perrey):

• Working on company banquet and the conference
• Sign the thank-you card for Garmin
• The membership certificate for Dr. Walker has been framed

Vice President (Tyler Sheeley):

• Need to contact Chartwells about the pledge banquet (at Havener)
• Banquet tickets will be handed out at the next meeting, will sell for $15
• Q: Should we make the pledge banquet a buffet? A: Buffet takes too long to serve, could be messy when everyone is dressed up
• Will offer a vegetarian meal at the banquet

Treasurer (Devin Simms):

• Checking: ~$2830, savings: ~$830
• Received $300 check from ADTRAN
• Got a change-of-address letter from an alumni

Secretary (Kyle Guinn):

Bridge Correspondent (Tyler Harms):

• Advisor letters are in, still editing
• Needs someone to take pictures at the company banquet and to give an account

Pledge Chair (Robert Zuroweste):

• Setting up interview schedule
• SPL refrigerator door was open -- check for spoiled coffee shop goods

• Up to 6 companies for the banquet: John Deere, ADTRAN, Garmin, Dynetics, Anheuser-Busch, Sega Inc.
• Need 50-60 people to attend the banquet
• Need laptop for presentations
• Will send e-mails about the banquet
• Q: Should we post a flyer? A: Use the scrolling LCD display by the clock
• Should try to get grad students not in HKN to attend
