Dr. Hong Sheng is an assistant professor in Information Science and Technology at the Department of Business and Information Technology in the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla). She is also co-directing the Laboratory for Information Technology Evaluation. Dr. Sheng received her Ph.D. degree and master degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a specialization in Management Information Systems (MIS), and her bachelor degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. Her research interests include mobile commerce and ubiquitous commerce, trust and privacy issues in information systems, use of IT to support teaching and learning, and Human-Computer Interaction. Her teaching interests include Human-Computer Interaction and Intrduction to Management Information Systems. Dr. Sheng has published her research in journals such as Journal of Associations for Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, IEEE Transaction on Education, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Journal of Database Management,and International Journal of Electronic Business.
