is a Professional Fraternity for students interested in materials. Keramos
has both women and men members that are undergraduate and graduate students,
faculty, and honorary members.
Missouri Chapter of Keramos requires undergraduate students to have at least
a 3.0 GPA and the student must have taken at least one materials course.
Students who have a want to join the organization but have lower than a 3.0
GPA will be considered on a case by case basis. Graduate students are
required to be in good academic standing.

includes making and getting signatures on a Keramos plaque. Pledging also
requires minimal tasks to grow the students professionalism.

students from primary to college level. These lab tours help to promote Materials
Science and Engineering to the public. Keramos also has visited the St. Louis
Science Center during Engineers Week. Along with many other activities.

compete for the Chapter of the Year award. This award is based off the
chapters membership, promotion of Ceramic Engineering, and service to the
community. The Missouri Chapter has a won this award more than any other
