History:
The University of Missouri - Rolla lacrosse team was started in the fall of 1999. Many of the original players of the team came on with little or no experience. The Miner Lacrosse team is currently looking for new blood to keep the program moving in a forward direction. The Miners have successfully made a name for themselves on campus by selling t-shirts and plastering the school with fliers and banners before game days. As the interest for lacrosse grows across the nation, we hope to expand our numbers and become a force to reckon with in the GRLC and USLIA. Much thanks to the original club president, Rich Ormsby, whose hard work and determination made UMR Lacrosse a reality.
