Research Activities

My research interests are in the areas of manufacturing and controls. Areas of current interest include metal cutting, parallel (simultaneous) machining, friction stir welding, laser metal deposition, freeze extrusion fabrication of ceramics, tribological systems, and hydraulic systems. My work utilizes theoretical, experimental, and computer simulation techniques to analyze and solve a variety of engineering problems. For more information regarding my research projects, please access the items below.
