Front View of the Graft Co-Polymerization Unit. The front of the Graft Copolymerization Unit has access to valves for purge, relief, pressurization, and depressurization,, pressure gauges, temperature control, booster pump control for feeding carbon dioxide and other gases, and a micrometering pump for feeding initiators and other liquids into the reactor. Reactor: 300 mL 316 Stainless Steel Agitated Bolt Closure, Autoclave Engineers
Back View of the Graft Co-Polymerization Unit. The back of the Graft Copolymerization Unit consists of steel doors (shown open) to allow for a completely ventilated enclosure. Shown in the above section of the enclosure is the reactor with agitator and drive along with an insulated heater. The bottom section is has the pneumatically driven compressor (booster pump) on the right hand side and a micrometering pump on the left hand side. Return to virtual tour. | |||
