I am an assistant professor in petroleum engineering at the department of Geological Sciences and Engineering. You can see what I am doing here Missouri S&T on my courses and research page. I am also affiliated, as a Sr. research investigator, with the rock mechanics and explosives research center at S&T

I got my PhD degree in geomechanics from University of Oslo, Norway.

Before taking up the position at Missouri S&T I was  a research associate at University of Calgary  in the Chemical and Petroleum department and affiliated with the Energy and Environmental Systems group.

Prior to returning to the University I worked in the industry for several years. First as a consultant to Saga Petroleum, then as a general Manager for Drops Technology AS and finally as management consultant with  McKinsey & Company’s Business Technology Office. I have also consulted for operators, service companies as well as companies outside the E&P business.
