Welcome to the PMCLab!
The Precision Motion Control Laboratory (PMCLab) is contained within the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Our research is focused on the design of advanced controls algorithms and precision systems for a variety of tasks from atomic force microscopy to layer-by-layer manufacturing. In particular, we leverage the repeatability of precision systems in our algorithms to enhance performance and capability. Read more about our research here.

We have open PhD positions for Fall 2016. Students interested in joining the PMCLab should apply to the MAE Department Graduate Program and are encouraged to contact Prof. Bristow directly.

We are always looking for motivated undergraduate researchers. Interested students should email Prof. Bristow with a short paragraph describing their interests and a copy of their resume.
