Background:

Mr. Gideon is a long time resident of Missouri growing up mainly in the Springfield area (hometown of Republic, MO) where he attended high school and college.  He is a full-time employee at Boeing Integrated Defense Systems in St. Louis.  He works as an embedded software engineer designing, developing, and testing software for real-time avionics systems and for mission planning systems.  He is currently working on the SLAM-ER and Harpoon projects.  Before moving to St. Louis in January of 2000 he worked as a database programmer at O'Reilly Automotive in Springfield for two years.

Mr. Gideon is currently pursuing a MS degree in Systems Engineering with emphasis in Computational Intelligence at the University of Missouri-Rolla.
