Entertainment at the Spring 2011 MVOR will be provided by "Caver's Special". Led by 'Grateful Gary' (a caver, one of us), his band uses the same formula as another popular caver band, The Terminal Siphons, --a little bit of everything! You'll hear music from the categories of: rock, country, bluegrass, jam-band, folk, Motown, rockabilly, psychedelic, disco and "other". Caver's Special promises all different songs for both Friday's Howdy Party and the Saturday festivities. A former member of The Schwag (from St.Louis), Grateful Gary has entertained us at a half-dozen MVORs over the past decade and many cavers have expressed how much they enjoy his blend of songs. For anyone who attended the 2010 Spring MVOR, you no doubt heard (or heard about) how great the music was. Caver's Special will be a FIVE-PIECE band, and as a special surprise, several other talented MVOR cavers will be taking the stage as the band backs them up for short segments of music. Sounds like a winner!
