Homework 2: Rational Agents
Objective
To gain a deeper understanding of the different types of rational agents and task environments.
Exercises
- E1. Exercise 2.4 in textbook
- E2. Give the PEAS description for a "computerized"
Monopoly Player and explain whether it is Fully or Partially
Observable, Deterministic or Stochastic, Episodic of Sequential, Static or Dynamic, Discrete or Continuous,
and Single or Multi-Agent.
- E3. Explain whether it is possible to have two different agent programs that perform the same agent function.
- E4. For each of the following, explain the limitations and advantages of a simple reflex agent:
Texas Hold'em poker player,
tic-tac-toe player, and computer controlled elevator system.
- E5. [BONUS] Find information on two different existing computer chess players and explain whether they are
simple reflex players or not.
