Where Is Rolla? Rolla is located on Interstate-44, approximately 110 miles southwest of Lambert International Airport, St. Louis, Missouri.

There are several ways to get to Rolla. The closest major airport is St. Louis, Missouri. Then one can either drive (via I-270 and I-44, approximately 110 miles from airport, or roughly 1 hour 45 minutes), take Greyhound bus (five to six times per day; the bus ride is approximately 2 hours) or fly to Fort Leonard Wood (25 miles southwest of Rolla; there are two flights per day), then arrange to be picked up.

There is easy ccess to a variety of outdoor recreation: golf, canoeing, camping, backpacking, jewel-like mineral formatons at Meramec Caverns, fishing and picnicing. With Branson and Silver Dollar City nearby (two and half hours drive), the Ozarks is an ideal place for your family summer vacation. Other Attractions in the Area - St. Louis Before arriving Rolla, you can make arrangements to tour the many attractions of the beautiful St. Louis. Once stood as an island of civilization in the vast, unsettled American West, St. Louis today is a heartland metropolis with an urbanity that doesn't quite hide all the rough frontier edges.
