General Meetings

Feel free to come listen in on any of our meetings if you are interested in joining TIES.

• Time: 6:00 PM every Monday Night
• Location: Conference Room of the Residential College, across from Havener
• How long: Usually around an hour
• What we do: Every meeting opens up with a general overview and a briefing on fundraising and upcoming activities. Often times the group will then open up to a general discussion over entrepreneur based topics and suggestions for businesses already put into motion by current members as well as business ideas brought forth by the students of TIES. Throughout the year we also schedule guest speakers to talk during part, or all, of the meeting.

Joining TIES

You can join TIES anytime during the school year. Just come to a general meeting on Tuesday or email ties@umr.edu for more information. Dues are $20 for the school year, which includes membership in the National CEO.
