New Members

MEMBERSHIP PROCESS:

Visit a Toastmasters club and obtain an application form
Turn in the completed application form and the necessary dues to a club officer
After an approval vote by the club, the application is processed and membership priviledges are immediate
The materials will be mailed within a few weeks. In the intervening time, a speech manual is available at the reference desk in the UM-Rolla Library
Questions may be answered by the club officers and other experienced members
Progressing through the speaking projects and assignments for the various meeting roles occurs at the rate and frequency with which you are most comfortable

MEMBERSHIP AND DUES:

Membership in the University of Missouri-Rolla Toastmasters Club # 4850 is open to all University of Missouri-Rolla undergraduate and graduate students
Membership in the University Orators Club # 4626 is open to faculty, staff, and students at the University of Missouri-Rolla and to the greater community of Rolla, Missouri
Cost to join is $30 per semester. A new member is charged a one-time-only fee of $20 for materials
