These are minutes of the forty-second annual session of the Association, held on 22-24 Au­gust 1929 near Alton, Missouri.  Included are minutes of meetings, the articles of faith, cove­nant, and membership data for the constituent churches.  The Association was composed of thir­teen churches, primarily in Oregon County, Missouri.

 

The locations for several churches in the Association could not be ascertained, but most ap­pear to have been in Oregon County, Missouri.  At least one, the Mill Creek Church, might have been located in Ripley County, Missouri.  The Pleasant Valley Church was in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.  The 1929 annual session was hosted by the Smyrna Church, near Alton in Ore­gon County.
