These are records of Cole Camp High School at Cole Camp in Benton County, Missouri.  In­cluded are records of the district clerk, 1870-1910, and daily and term attendance records kept by teach­ers, 1870-1884 and 1898-1901.

 

Cole Camp High School was located in Township 43 North, Range 21 West, in Ben­ton County.  It was designated as Benton County District No. 2.  The records consist of two groups: district clerk’s records, and attendance records kept by teachers.

 

Each volume contains several categories of records.  Records of the district clerk in­clude min­utes of school meetings, financial statements, lists of taxpayers and students, and an­nual re­ports on the district.  The attendance records include the classification and standing of each stu­dent, re­ports on the condition of the school building and property, and registers of visitors to the school.
