These are typescripts of historical interviews with residents of Butler County, Missouri, by Robert Manns of Poplar Bluff.  Topics include life along the Black River and in the communi­ties of Hamtown, Qulin, and Rombauer, logging and railroads in Butler County, and the tor­nado of 1927.
