This is a history of the levee district based in Mississippi County, Missouri, including a sum­mary of levee construction prior to the flood of 1913 and improvements made after that date, with rec­ommendations for future construction.  The report was submitted to Little, Vardaman & Ditting of St. Louis, purchasers of the district’s construction bonds.
