These are pocket farm diaries for 1875‑1876. The diary for 1875 was marked on the outside
of the cover “J. W. Roseberry, Kent, Newton Co. Mo.” The inside flyleaf bears the inscription, “Presented to Chalmer
H. Roseberry on his 29th birthday by his mother, Jan. 11, 1904.” The diaries were photocopied one above the
other on the same page. The diary at
the top of the page is for the year 1875, that at the bottom for 1876.
