These are minutes of meetings and membership records of the Rebekah Homemaker’s Club at Webb City, Missouri.  The club was composed of members of the Rebekah Lodge at Webb City, who met to socialize and to raise money for the Odd Fellows Home in Liberty, Missouri.  Minutes begin with the organizational meeting of 25 October 1933 and continue through 14 April 1939.

 

Twelve women met at the home of Noble Grand Goldie Kirk in Webb City on 25 October 1933 to organize the Rebekah Homemakers’ Club.  The purpose of the club was “to create a so­cial interest among its members and to do our bit toward contributing to the IOOF home.”  Among the club’s fundraising activities were a quilt raffle and rummage sales.
