This is the record book of the Methodist Sunday School at Vienna in Maries County, Mis­souri.  Included are attendance records, statistical summaries, and minutes of the meetings.  L. D. Eads was the superintendent.

 

The record book consists of three sections beginning in July 1895 and continuing through De­cember 1898.  The first section is a roll and attendance record of students and class officers.  The second section is a statistical summary of each Sunday School class showing the number of stu­dents and officers, and contributions received.  The last section is a weekly record of classes.  In­cluded are the names of the persons conducting services, the scripture lessons studied, contri­bu­tions received, and persons attending.  There are also remarks on the weather.  About twenty-five individuals made up the classes.  Among the teachers were Neppie Eads, Annie Crosier, A. J. Cur­tis, Lou King, the Rev. J T. Haley, and the Rev. J. M. L. Hoyle.
