This is a certificate for 1000 shares of stock in the United-Mexican Mines Company, which was incorporated in Arizona but had corporate offices at Kansas City in Jackson County, Mis­souri.  The shares were purchased by Fred Crosby, who was also the Secretary of the firm.

 

The United-Mexican Mines Company had an announced capitalization of $5,000,000.  This certificate (No. 1543) is for 1000 shares at one dollar each.  The certificate is dated 5 May 1913 and was issued to Fred Crosby.  It is signed by Crosby as Secretary of the company, and by the firm’s Vice President, W. A. Willis.
