The Jasper Circuit (or Charge) was initially composed of the Barton, Jasper, Lebanon, and Salem Methodist churches in Jasper County, Missouri.  Originally part of the Joplin District of the Southwest Missouri Conference, by 1925 it was in the Nevada District of the same conference.
