This is a booklet containing the “Register and By-Laws of Rolla Lodge, No. 213, A.F. & A.M.  Rolla, Missouri.  1905.”  It was published by “Herald-Democrat Print.” of Rolla on 8 September 1905.

This 24-page booklet notes that the original “dispensation” was granted to Rolla Lodge No. 213 on 12 July 1860, and it was organized on 31 July 1860.  The founding Worshipful Master was Thomas F. Shields.  The chapter’s charter was accepted on 30 May 1861, and it was “constituted” on 25 September 1861.  The first Worshipful Master under the charter was D. R. Parsons.  Pages 4 and 5 contain a list of all Worshipful Masters through 1905-1906.  Page 6 contains a list of officers for 1905-1906, and an alphabetical roster of then-current members is on pages 21 through 24.  The by-laws, on pages 7 through 19, appear to be the standard organizational and parliamentary rules for Masonic lodges.

Apparently the booklet was published to celebrate the laying of the cornerstone for the new Masonic Temple in Rolla on 9 September 1905.
