These are souvenir program booklets from the Ozarks Steam Engine Association’s “annual reunions” near Billings, Missouri.  These events featured working “live steam” tractors and other agricultural steam engines.

The Ozarks Steam Engine Association was organized on 1 March 1962.  Each year in August or September it sponsors a “Steam-O-Rama,” which attracts antique steam traction engines and their enthusiasts to a large field near Billings, Missouri.  These are “souvenir programs” from the “annual reunions” held in 1964-1968, 1970-1972, and 1974.

The booklets are similar in size and content from year to year, featuring a schedule of events, photographs, reminiscences, and many advertisements for area businesses.  The programs for 1964 and 1965 include a list of members.  Programs for 1968 and following years include rosters of officers.  Leonard H. Yarbrough served as president in 1964, succeeded by Gene Owen (1968), Jim McCauley (1970) and Charley Stark (1971, 1972, and 1974).
