This is "Your Health Department," the third annual report for the Newton County Health Unit of Neosho, Missouri.  It includes summaries of public health efforts and community health services in Newton County.

 

D. A. Campbell, M.D., submitted this report to the Newton County Court in his capacity as Newton County Health Officer.  He was the head of the Health Unit, which was located at the cor­ner of College and McCord streets in Neosho.  This 16-page booklet presents summaries and data in the areas of Public Health Education, Communicable Disease Control, Venereal Disease Con­trol, Tuberculosis Control, Maternity Service, Infant and Preschool Hygiene, School Hygiene, Morbidity Service, Crippled Children Service, Sanitation, and Vital Statistics.  There are also a roster of the Unit's staff and a schedule for public clinics.
