This is “The Foggy River Boys Present: A Sentimental Journey,” recorded in celebration of the centennial of Monett in Barry County, Missouri.  Included are performances by Jack Frost and the Men of Note, and the Monett High School Band and Chorus.

 

Bob Millsap of Ironside Studios in Branson, Missouri, produced this audiocassette in cele­bration of the centennial in 1987 of “our hometown — Monett, Missouri.”  For the most part it features The Foggy River Boys singing old standards such as “Sentimental Journey,” “Lida Rose,” and “The Green, Green Grass of Home.”  Side 2 of the cassette includes the Monett High School Band and Chorus performing the school’s alma mater, and Jack Frost and the Men of Note singing “Monett Is a Railroad Town,” the community’s official centennial song.
