This 24-page booklet contains the text of a labor contract between Eagle-Picher Industries and the United Cement, Lime and Gypsum Workers International Union, covering workers employed by Eagle-Picher’s Fibers and Minerals Division at Joplin in Jasper County, Missouri.  Effective from 1 May 1967 through 30 April 1969, the 28 articles and one exhibit of the agreement spelled out the terms of employment, including work rules, wages, holidays, seniority, and fringe benefits.  Exhibit A listed the twelve “Job Classification Brackets” with their hourly rates of pay, which ranged from $2.085 to $2.635 per hour, with incentive rates “per 50-pound bag” for Cement Feeders and Cement Baggers.

Herman L. Huelster signed the agreement on behalf of Eagle-Picher industries.
