This booklet provides information concerning the 1912-1913 school year for the Conway Public Schools at Conway in Laclede County, Missouri.  The principal was Lonnie S. Haymes.

Conway is a small community in southwestern Laclede County, Missouri.  The public schools there in 1912-1913 had a six-member Board of Education and a faculty of five.  Included were a three-year high school course and a 350-volume library.  School opened on 2 September 1912 and closed with commencement exercises on 18 April 1913.

This 20-page booklet describes Conway as a town with “no saloons” and an ideal place to acquire an education free from “the distracting influences of the larger cities.”  Pupils were forbidden to “use chewing-gum, cigarettes or tobacco in any form.”  Upon completion of the course of study, “one year in a preparatory school will admit the student to Drury and other colleges.”
