This is a booklet containing the “amended articles of
agreement,” constitution, and bylaws of Holy Cross Lutheran Church at Cole Camp in Benton County, Missouri. The booklet
is dated 1 April 1955, although the amended articles were adopted on 15
December 1953.
On 15 December 1953 the “Holy Cross Congregation of the German Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Unaltered Augsburg Confession, in Benton, Morgan and Pettis Counties, Missouri,” adopted amended Articles of Agreement that renamed
the congregation as Holy Cross Lutheran Church. This 12-page
booklet includes those amended articles, the congregation’s constitution, and
its bylaws. There is a list of officers
at the time of the adoption of the amended articles. The congregation belonged to the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
