Blendville Lodge No. 573 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows was instituted on 3 April 1899.  It met on Monday evenings.   M. L. Peters was chairman of the Committee on Laws of Subordinates, which presented the by-laws for approval on 17 April 1922.  This eight-page booklet includes by-laws articles concerning meetings, fees and dues, benefits, appointed officers, financial concerns, compensation of the secretary and the treasurer, degrees, amendments, and the order of business.

The Official Certificate was issued by Blendville Lodge on 10 May 1926 to R. A. Barton, indicating that his dues and assessments had been paid through 1 July 1926.  This official certificate provided good standing for Barton at “all Lodges, Rebekah Lodges and Encampments.  The back of the certificate also provides a “telegraphic cipher and key” for communicating with other Lodges.

A small pin-back button with the IOOF symbol was included with these items, and has been placed in the Information Folder.
