The Austin Wood Auditorium was located on United States Highway 54 about two miles south of Bagnell Dam.  Featuring a “new show each week,” its season ran from May through September.  Austin Wood was a blind musician and promoter who had a long career in the central Missouri area.  The brochure includes aerial and interior views of the auditorium, a schedule of shows, and portrait photographs of the featured performers.
