This is “Crossing at Crowley’s Ridge,” a booklet published by the Missouri State Highway Commission on 24 June 1962 for the dedication of improved U.S. Highway 60 and Missouri Highway 25 at Dexter in Stoddard County.  Commission Chairman Fred L. Henley, Governor John M. Dalton, and U.S. Senator Edward V. Long attended the dedication ceremony.

From a contract let on 30 September 1960, over 15 miles of U.S. Highway 60 and two miles of Missouri Highway 25 were improved to dual carriageway expressways in the vicinity of Dexter in Stoddard County.  Their intersection just northeast of Dexter became a grade-separated interchange.  The Dexter Chamber of Commerce sponsored a dedication ceremony on 24 June 1962 to celebrate the completion of the project.  This booklet includes information about the project and a program for the dedication ceremony.  Fred L. Henley, the Chairman of the Missouri State Highway Commission, presented the highways to Missouri Governor John M. Dalton and U.S. Senator Edward V. Long at the ceremony.  The booklet includes line-drawing illustrations by Wilbur Mayens.
