This is a pamphlet “year book” for the Swastika Club, a woman’s club at Willow Springs in Howell County, Missouri.  It covers the meeting year from September 1921 through August 1922.  Clara Hollenback Campbell served as president of the club, and Alice Billingsley Hammer was the secretary.

 

The Swastika Club met biweekly, and this single-sheet folded pamphlet served as a calendar, listing the date and hostess for each meeting from 2 September 1921 through 18 August 1922.  The members served in alphabetical order as hostess for each meeting.  Each hostess is named, including her given name, maiden surname, and married surname.  Special parties were planned for “autumn,” Thanksgiving, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, and a “Violet” party in the spring.
