These are five copies of The Oak Tree, the weekly newsletter of the Civilian Conservation Corps’s Company 1732 at Blooming Rose in Phelps County, Missouri.  The issues are dated be­tween 17 October and 12 December 1935.

 

CCC Company 1732 was based at Forest Service Camp F-9 in southern Phelps County near the border with Texas County.  This weekly newsletter provided information about the camp’s projects, social events, and personnel.
