This is a program booklet for a horse show sponsored by the Marshfield Saddle Club at Marshfield in Webster County, Missouri.  The show was held at the club’s arena on 29-30 Sep­tember 1961.

 

The Marshfield Saddle Club’s horse show was a two-day event featuring seventeen classes of competition and exhibition, including fox-trotters, walking horses, ponies, and quarter-bred colts.  The show arena was located just south of Marshfield on State Highway A.  A photograph  of “Golden Governor,” shown by Arthur Rowland, is on the front of the program booklet.  The booklet includes a list of the competitive classes and many advertisements for local and area busi­nesses.
