This is a small booklet containing the constitution and by-laws of the Wheaton Fruit-Grow­ers Association at Wheaton in Barry County, Missouri.  L. W. Gardner was president and A. C. Johnson was secretary-treasurer of the Association.

 

This undated, eight-page booklet includes the constitution and by-laws of the Wheaton Fruit-Growers Association.  Membership was open to horticulturists with at least one-quarter acre in cultivation.  Members were required to “deliver to the general manager all of each day’s gath­ering of small fruits when cars are being loaded.”

 

The Wheaton Fruit-Growers Association’s members met monthly, with an annual meeting in August.  The secretary of the Association also served as the general manager, and kept the As­sociation’s “books, accounts, and records.”
