This is a souvenir booklet presented by teacher Ethel Simmons to her pupils at the close of the 1913-1914 school year at Bernie School in Stoddard County, Missouri.  Included are the names of the students and the directors of the school district.

 

Bernie School was located in the small town of Bernie in southern Stoddard County.  In 1913-1914 Ethel Simmons taught 75 students, all of whom are named in the booklet, along with the seven directors of the school district.  There are also a few pages of inspirational prose and poetry.
