This is a booklet published for the Central Ozark Aberdeen-Angus Breeders Association’s “15th Consignment Show and Sale,” held near Salem in Dent County, Missouri, on 13 March 1961.  Forty-one head of registered cattle were offered at the event.  The auctioneer was Wes Hays and the show judge was Vic Gray.

 

This 20-page booklet served as a program for the show and a guide to the cattle to be sold subsequent to the show.  Included are the names of the cattle and their owners, detailed pedigrees, and photographs of two prized bulls.  There were twelve consignors, and the Association had 39 members.  Kenneth Murray of Salem was the sale manager.  Several of the lots have dollar amounts penciled in, presumably representing bid limits or sale prices.
